Build Photographer Booking Platform
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m building a responsive web platform where clients can book wedding, event and portrait photographers in just a few clicks. The heart of the experience is a real-time “search by availability” flow: a visitor chooses the date (or date range) first, and only photographers who are free on those dates appear.
Every photographer profile needs three essentials that surface instantly within the search results and on the profile page itself: a portfolio gallery for showcasing work, a live availability calendar that syncs with the booking system, and verified customer reviews to build trust. From there, the user should be able to confirm a time slot, pay securely (Stripe or similar), and receive an automatic confirmation email.
Under the hood I’ll need:
• A clean, modern front-end (React, Vue or similar) that works flawlessly on desktop and mobile
• A back-end API (Node/Express, Laravel, Django—open to best fit) with role-based access for photographers, clients and admin
• Database structure to store profiles, images, calendars and transactions without performance hits
• Admin dashboard to approve new photographers, manage bookings, resolve disputes and pull reports
Acceptance criteria:
1. Search returns only photographers whose calendar shows full availability for the chosen date/time.
2. Portfolio images load in under two seconds on a 4G connection.
3. Reviews cannot be posted unless a booking has been completed.
4. Payment flow must pass Stripe web-hook verification and log transaction IDs in the database.
5. Platform deployed to a cloud environment (AWS, GCP or Azure) with SSL and daily automated backups.
