Blockchain-Based Carbon Credit Tracking DApp

I have found a GitHub project (https://github.com/tech-creed/Green-Chain-PLI-Hackathon-2.0/tree/main) which implements a Blockchain-Based Green Credit Tracking System. I want a freelancer to:

Set up the entire project locally and get it running

Explain clearly how it works (frontend + smart contracts)

Help me deploy it on a testnet like Polygon Mumbai or Ethereum testnet

Assist me in using Metamask and running basic functionality (e.g., issuing tokens or tracking credits)

Metamask installed (optional — you can install it during the project)

No blockchain platform installed or configured yet

✅ What I Need:

Guidance on choosing between Ethereum, Polygon, or other networks

Setup and configuration of smart contracts

Functional frontend to interact with blockchain

A small guide or walkthrough once the setup is complete

Solidity

Hardhat or Truffle

React or basic frontend knowledge (if needed for integration)

Blockchain deployment (testnet/mainnet)
