Backend Engineering

Hi!
For a stealth project, we are looking for a German-speaking Backend Engineer, preferably available full-time or close to it, for an initial project duration of 3-4 months with the potential to transition to a permanent role if the collaboration is exceptional and you are interested.
We are a fully remote team building a highly reliable and performant system integration solution for regulated industries. This means a lot of thinking ahead about what can go wrong, and solving as many problems as possible upfront.
Responsibilities:
- Implement reliable integrations between multiple independent systems
- Define and implement OpenAPI specs
- Develop several services using Typescript / Node.js
- Work largely independently, with the support of our CTO
- Work closely with partners to understand the requirements and needs, and support them with integrations with our system
- Contribute to solution architecture and operational setup of the working product
Requirements:
- Proven experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Typescript and Node.js
- Strong understanding of system integrations
- Fluent or near-fluent in both German and English
- Available to start within the next several weeks
We are largely flexible when it comes to working hours, but there will be a healthy amount of collaboration with others, especially in the beginning while we will iron out the requirements.
