Backend Engineer for Database & API Management

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer proficient in Node.js to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in developing robust backend systems and possess a deep understanding of modern web technologies, as well as solid fundamentals in computer science.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies.

Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with a focus on Node.js development
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and its ecosystem
• Experience with backend frameworks/libraries such as Express, Nest.js, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and proficiency in database design
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• 2+ years of experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, PactumJS) and automated testing principles
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with writing decoupled Applications.

Nice to Have:
• Experience with NestJS
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Kubernetes experience
• Development experience on Ubuntu
• Python 3 experience
Education Qualifications
 Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent
