Backend Engineer Wanted – Node.js API & Forest Admin Panel
Budget: €1,000 – €2,000 EUR
I’m seeking a talented backend engineer to build the backend and admin interface for a mobile content monetization platform.
Important:
This is a backend-only position. I am not looking for a frontend developer, full-stack team, or agency.
What I’m Looking For:
A solo backend developer (no teams or agencies)
Strong experience with Node.js (preferably using Express or NestJS)
Ability to work independently and write clean, secure backend code
Experience with payment systems, wallets, user role management, and analytics
Familiarity with Forest Admin, UI Bakery, or similar tools
Responsibilities
Backend (Node.js):
Develop a secure REST API for a Flutter-based mobile app
Implement wallet functionality (credit/debit, multi-currency support)
Integrate payouts via Stripe and/or PayPal
Manage media uploads (Amazon S3)
Generate PDF invoices
Support an affiliate/referral system (master/slave structure)
Implement ticketing and dispute resolution features
Handle authentication using JWT
Build a role-based access control system
Use PostgreSQL or MongoDB for the database
Admin Panel (Forest Admin or similar):
Manage user profiles (wallet balances, login/IP/device history, risk scores)
View detailed transaction history (including fees, payouts, referrals)
Moderate media content (flag/delete/suspend)
Manage support tickets and disputes
Tag users and content (e.g., “VIP”, “Flagged”)
Perform bulk actions (suspend, export, tag, etc.)
Create analytics dashboards (sales, refunds, affiliate spending)
Configure PSP routing per currency
Data Migration Scope:
As part of the backend setup, you’ll migrate data from an existing Laravel + MySQL system.
What needs to be migrated:
Users: Login credentials, profile data, wallet balances
Media: Existing S3 file URLs mapped to the correct users
Affiliate Data: Current referral structure (master <-> slave)
Note: There is no need to re-upload media files. S3 URLs must be retained and correctly mapped in the new database.
Expectations:
Clean, modular Node.js codebase
Role-based access control and validation
Encrypted PSP/API credentials
Well-documented APIs (Swagger or Postman preferred)
To Apply:
Please confirm the following:
That you’re an individual backend developer
Your backend tech stack
Your experience with admin tools like Forest Admin
Examples of past backend, payment, or admin projects
Your availability and estimated delivery timeline
Start your bid with "xxx" to be considered.
