Backend Developer Needed – Node.js API & Forest Admin Panel
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
I’m looking for a skilled backend engineer to develop the backend and admin interface for a mobile content monetization platform.
Important:
This is a backend-only role. I'm NOT looking for a frontend developer, Team, or agency.
What I’m Looking For:
An individual backend developer (no teams, no agencies)
Solid experience with Node.js (Express or NestJS preferred)
Comfortable working independently and writing clean, secure backend logic
Experience with payment workflows, wallets, user roles, and analytics
Familiar with Forest Admin or UI Bakery or similiar
Responsibilities:
Backend (Node.js):
Build secure REST API for a Flutter mobile app
Internal wallet logic (credit/debit, multi-currency)
Handle payouts via Stripe and/or PayPal
Media upload management (Amazon S3)
PDF invoice generation
Support for affiliate/referral system (master/slave)
Dispute and support ticket logic
Authentication (JWT)
Role-based access system
Database: PostgreSQL or MongoDB
Admin Panel (Forest Admin or similar):
User profiles (wallet, login/IP/device history, risk score)
Transactions view with full breakdown (fees, payouts, affiliate)
Media moderation (flag/delete/suspend)
Ticket & dispute resolution tools
Tagging system for users and content (e.g. “VIP”, “Flagged”)
Bulk actions (suspend/export/tag)
Analytics dashboard (sales, refunds, affiliate spend)
PSP routing settings (per currency)
Data Migration Scope:
As part of the backend setup, you will also handle data migration from an existing Laravel + MySQL system.
What needs to be migrated:
Users: Login credentials, profile information, wallet balances
Media: S3 file URLs mapped to the correct users
Affiliate Data: Existing referral relationships (master <-> slave structure)
Note: There is no need to re-upload content. S3 media links should be preserved and mapped correctly to the new database schema.
Expectations:
Clean, modular Node.js code
Role-based access and validation
Encrypted credentials for PSP/API keys
Well-documented APIs (Swagger or Postman)
