Backend Developer (Individual Only) – Node.js | Admin Panel via Forest Admin, UI Bakery, or Similar Tool

Important: This project requires the use of a modern admin panel tool such as Forest Admin, UI Bakery, or a similar visual admin platform. Please only apply if you are familiar with (or willing to work with) these kinds of tools — we will not build a custom admin UI from scratch.
I am looking for an individual and experienced backend developer (no agencies, no teams — please do not apply if your profile says "I have a team").
This project is for building the complete backend for a Flutter mobile app. The frontend of the app will be handled by a separate Flutter developer — your focus will be solely on the backend and API development.
Preferred Backend Technology:
Node.js (or other modern frameworks, but no Laravel/PHP)
Required Features & Scope:
You will be responsible for building the backend infrastructure including all necessary APIs and integrations, such as:
User management (registration, login, profile settings)
Payment integration (Stripe, PayPal)
Veriff API integration (for user identity verification)
Customizable fee settings / commission logic
Media management (handling user-uploaded files & content)
Ticket & support system
User payout requests (integration with payment provider)
Dispute management system
Admin panel using Forest Admin, UI Bakery, or similar tool
(Pre-built or low-code admin interfaces – no custom UI development required)
Secure, scalable API structure for Flutter app consumption
Requirements:
Strong experience in backend development (Node.js preferred)
Proven experience with API design & third-party integrations
Experience using Forest Admin, UI Bakery, or similar tools to build admin panels
Security best practices for user data and payments
Clean, well-documented code
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Clear communication skills (English)

Data Migration
As part of this project, we will also need to migrate legacy data from our existing Laravel + MySQL backend. The focus is primarily on:
User data (login credentials, profiles)
Media file references linked to users (stored as URLs in the DB)
The actual media files are hosted on Amazon S3, so there is no need to re-upload — just make sure references remain intact and correctly mapped.
For the new system, we’d prefer either PostgreSQL or MongoDB as the database — feel free to choose what best suits your stack and the project’s requirements.
In short:
Import legacy users & media URLs
Map the data to the new schema and structure
