"API.yaml Integration & Local Testing"

As a web app owner, I am looking for an experienced JavaScript developer, particularly skilled in Node.js.
Key tasks to be undertaken in this project are:
- API.yaml Integration: The .yaml file needs to be seamlessly integrated as a new endpoint within the existing Node.js application. The job will entail understanding the structure of the API, the existing app, and how to effectively combine the two in a way that optimizes performance and accordance with the app's existing architecture.
- Local testing: Apart from the integration, I would like guidance on how to run the application locally for testing purposes. Being able to understand how the app functions locally and instructions to troubleshoot potential issues are a valuable part of what I am seeking in this project.
