Build Phase 1 AI Learning Tool

Job ID: 39622772

Budget: $10 – $150 USD

I'm seeking a skilled and trustworthy Python developer to advance a AI-powered educational tool currently in early prototype form.

This tool focuses on personalized learning by analyzing images and text to generate dynamic quiz questions and adapt to user performance over time.

Current Prototype Includes:

Python scripts

LLM model file (Phi-2 via llama.cpp)

OCR with Tesseract

Early command-line UI

Sample image and logic documentation

Your Mission – Phase 1 MVP Objectives:

Enhance and optimize OCR functionality using Tesseract or a similar tool

Integrate a local LLM (Phi-2 via llama.cpp or similar)

Develop robust dynamic question generation from extracted text/images

Implement open-ended answer processing using NLP (not just keyword matching)

Build a simple UI or CLI launcher for uploading images or text and generating questions

Bonus Features (Optional, Not Required for MVP):

Add support for PDFs

Save questions and answers in a smarter format (JSON, SQLite, etc.)

Introduce adaptive difficulty or question cycling based on performance

Confidentiality:

This project is confidential. An NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) must be signed before receiving:

Familiarity with OCR tools (Tesseract, EasyOCR, etc.)

Experience working with local LLMs and llama.cpp

Skills in prompt engineering and NLP

Comfortable with frontend/backend integration (even simple UIs or CLI apps)

Ideally has worked on educational or AI-based tools before

Committed to maintaining confidentiality and delivering clean, documented code

If you’re passionate about AI, education, and smart automation, I’d love to collaborate with you on this project.

Let me know if you need an NDA to review the full brief. Looking forward to working together.
