Trying to deploy a sails.js app using nginx and a VPS

have made a founding page for what will later be a web app that allows people to play casino games. We have deployed a Ubuntu VPS using Vultr and have bought a domain name and hosting with Hostinger. However we are having trouble with deploying the app using nginx, and other than copying code from stackoverflow, I have no idea what we are doing wrong. I have experience with JavaScript and Node.JS but this is new terrority for all of us. I am happy to use something else instead of nginx if needed. Please help us get our website online!
