Setup Secure KiwiRCD with Reverse Proxy
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I need a clean installation of KiwiRCD on my Linux server, fully configured and ready for production. Because the machine is still untouched, you will handle the complete stack: grabbing the latest stable source, compiling or deploying the recommended build, creating the service unit so it boots automatically, and locking everything down with modern TLS.
Part of the job is putting the daemon behind a reverse-proxy so certificates can be renewed seamlessly and all plain-text traffic is redirected to HTTPS. I am open to whichever proxy you feel most comfortable with—Nginx, Apache, Caddy, or HAProxy—as long as you document the steps and leave me with a repeatable configuration.
Security is critical. Please apply sane hardening defaults to KiwiRCD itself, the proxy, and the underlying firewall rules, and confirm with a final test that clients can connect only through the encrypted port.
Deliverables:
• Running KiwiRCD service on Linux, enabled at boot
• Reverse-proxy configuration with active TLS certificate
• Written notes or script covering all commands and file locations
