SSH-Only CentOS VPS Migration
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
My live site needs to be moved to a new CentOS-based VPS, but I only have SSH credentials—no WHM or cPanel on either end. I’m looking for someone who is comfortable handling a full command-line migration, from copying files and databases over to re-creating user accounts, vhosts, SSL certificates, and any cron jobs.
The current machine runs typical LAMP services and a couple of Node-based background workers. I’ll give you root SSH access to both boxes, the domain registrar, and any existing configs you might need. I’d like the move performed with rsync or another reliable, resumable tool so we can keep downtime to an absolute minimum; a short maintenance window is fine, but I’d prefer the site to remain accessible throughout DNS propagation.
Deliverables
• Exact copy of sites, databases, and SSL certs running smoothly on the new CentOS VPS
• Updated DNS or clear instructions for me to flip the switch
• A brief hand-over note outlining changes made, new file paths, and any commands/scripts you used
If you’ve migrated Linux servers over pure SSH before and know your way around CentOS, systemctl, Apache/Nginx, and MySQL/PostgreSQL dumps, this job should be straightforward.
