As a key member of our technology department, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the performance of our Drupal 10-based web applications.
Job Description:
As a Drupal Performance Expert at Loving Loyalty, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality and speed of our Drupal 10 websites. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Drupal architecture, Nginx, MySQL, and Ubuntu, with a proven track record of enhancing the performance of large-scale web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION
* Conduct thorough performance assessments of Drupal 10 websites to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
* Implement advanced caching strategies and optimization techniques to enhance overall site speed and responsiveness.
SERVER CONFIGURATION AND MAINTENANCE
* Work to configure and optimize Nginx, MySQL, and Ubuntu servers for optimal Drupal performance.
* Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure smooth and efficient server operations.
CODE REVIEW AND ENHANCEMENT
* Conduct code reviews to identify and rectify performance-related issues in custom modules, themes, and other Drupal components.
* Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for efficient code execution.
SCALABILITY PLANNING
* Develop and implement strategies for scalability to accommodate growing user bases and increased website traffic.
* Work with the team to plan for and execute performance testing to identify potential scaling challenges.
MONITORING AND TROUBLESHOOTING
* Implement monitoring tools to track and analyze website performance metrics.
* Respond promptly to performance-related incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure continuous optimal performance.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Drupal Performance Expert with a focus on Drupal 10.
* Proven experience with the DigitalOcean platform, including load balancers and database clusters
* Deep expertise in configuring and optimizing Nginx, MySQL, and Ubuntu for Drupal applications.
* Strong understanding of caching strategies, CDNs, and other performance-related technologies.
* Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
* Ability to conduct code reviews and recommend improvements for performance optimization.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Drupal certification (preferred)
Demonstrated experience on similar projects
