Fix WordPress Media Uploads

Job ID: 40554499

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

My WordPress site is running on a self-managed VPS and everything hums along—until I try to add an image, video, or PDF. The upload simply halts and WordPress offers no error message at all. Because the failure is total, I suspect the culprit lies in one of the usual suspects (file-system permissions, Nginx or PHP-FPM limits, missing extensions, or an over-strict security rule), but I need a seasoned pair of eyes to pinpoint and resolve it.

You’ll receive full SSH root access plus WordPress admin credentials so you can dig into server logs, tweak php.ini, inspect the wp-content/uploads directory, or run WP-CLI commands as needed. Once you isolate the root cause, apply a clean, permanent fix and leave a brief changelog so I can replicate the solution on staging.

Deliverable:
• A working media library that accepts a 5 MB image without timeout or silent failure, with all permissions and limits set correctly and no core files modified.

If you’re comfortable troubleshooting WordPress on Nginx/PHP-FPM and know your way around Linux file permissions, let’s get this wrapped up quickly.
