E-commerce Storefront Frontend Developer (React / Next.js / Tailwind CSS)
Project Overview
We are launching a highly responsive, modern e-commerce storefront for an established brand and are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to bring our Figma designs to life. The backend API, database structure, and fully documented REST/GraphQL endpoints are already complete. Your primary focus will be implementing the pixel-perfect UI, seamless client-side state management, and optimized user flows.

Our local development workflow is fully containerized, and we leverage cloud environments tailored for enterprise scalability. This project is ideal for mid-to-senior level developers who appreciate a structured, standard-driven environment and robust toolchains.

Key Responsibilities
Figma to Code: Translate high-fidelity Figma designs into responsive, interactive, and semantic HTML/CSS/JS.

Component Development: Build reusable, self-contained UI components using React/Next.js and Tailwind CSS.

State Management & API Integration: Connect the frontend to our ready-to-use backend APIs (handling cart state, user authentication, checkout flows, and product filtering).

Cross-Browser & Platform Optimization: Deliver a consistent experience across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge, ensuring smooth interactions for desktop touch-screen laptops and standard precision trackpads.

Modern Tooling Integration: Maintain clean development environments, utilizing containerized setups and robust terminal scripting for local builds.

Technical Requirements & Environment
Framework: React.js / Next.js (App Router preferred)

Styling: Tailwind CSS (fully responsive, mobile-first approach)

State Management: Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or React Context API

Local Development & Shell: Experience working with Docker Desktop and CLI scripting (PowerShell / WSL or Bash) to run local environments smoothly.

IDE & Standards: Deep familiarity with VS Code ecosystem (configured with ESLint, Prettier, and strict TypeScript settings).

Target Deployment Cloud: Microsoft Azure (Static Web Apps / App Services).

Scope of Work & Deliverables
Homepage: Hero sections, dynamic product carousels, and category grids.

Product Catalog: Advanced filtering (by size, price, color) and sorting functionality.

Product Detail Page (PDP): Interactive image gallery, variant selectors, and real-time stock status.

Shopping Cart & Checkout: Slide-out cart drawer, dynamic price calculation, and a multi-step checkout form validation.

User Account: Profile dashboard, order history list, and saved shipping addresses.
