Joomla-to-TinaCMS Site Rebuild

Job ID: 40292786

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

I run an adventure-focused site currently powered by Joomla and I’m ready to rebuild it on TinaCMS so I can enjoy a faster, Git-based workflow and an easier editing experience. The content revolves around trip planning and covers hiking, water sports and other extreme-sport articles, so everything—from posts and images to category structure—needs to be migrated and rendered accurately in the new stack.

Here’s what I need from you:

• Set up a fresh project with TinaCMS integrated (Next.js).
• Work on my git repository on a branch and possibly use the MUI to manage the component theming and well organized asset
• Recreate the existing pages, templates and navigation so the look and feel stay familiar while gaining the performance benefits of a static build.
• Migrate all current “trip” content, preserving slugs, meta data and media libraries.
• Configure Tina’s editing screens so I can continue adding adventure-activity posts without touching code.
• Ensure markdown (or MDX) files are generated cleanly in the repo and that preview/edit works on my Git provider.
• Optimise for speed, SEO and responsive design.

When we’re done I expect a Git repository I can deploy straight to Netlify or Vercel, full documentation on how to add new hiking, water-sport or extreme-sport content, and a brief hand-off call to walk through the CMS. Let’s make this transition smooth and future-proof.

The saved data can be on database or on files like the default for TinaCMS (Let me know what you think is better i will provide a server and configure CI for automatic deploy on a staging enviroment)
