# Project Description
This is basically a side project to a big one that we are working on for a client, or a demo of a temporary idea from this client that we didn't have the manpower or time to work on because we were fully occupied.
## Purpose
The goal of this project is to produce **a news aggregation web app**. This news site presents content related only to cryptocurrencies, blockchain, metaverse, decentralized finance, decentralized games, decentralized organizations, ..., etc.
## Content presented, site structure and functions
The overall layout of the site is similar to The Hacker News

### Home
Aggregate all information. e.g.: The price information for major cryptocurrencies, headlines, summary of news, categories of news, ad space, full text search...
### Categories
cryptocurrencies, blockchain, metaverse, decentralized finance, decentralized games, decentralized organizations, ..., use Tags to distinguish articles Categories and rearrange them to present.
### News Articles
When user clicks **See More**, which opens a _blank window that jumps to the source of this news item.
or If the headlines or articles subited by the admin, opens a detailed artile page.
### Subscribe
Record mailboxes for marketing or other departments to send subscription emails to customers.
### Backend
- Administrator accessible (simple authentication, only one role: the Admin)
- Submit article (title, datetime, featured image, summary, slug, richtext content)
- Manage articles (modify, delete, set articles as headlines)
- Export subscribed users as .csv
## Content source
There are two sources of news articles.
Use API (either News API or Bing API or other available API) to obtain information to write to the database and display the data obtained from the database. To save the number of API queries and browsing speed, the results of the API queries are not displayed directly.
Also we can write and submit articles by ourselves and set the articles as headlines. (which requires a full article page)
## Technology Stack
In general we don't have specific requirements for the technology stack, but if possible we need as much as possible the same technology stack as the project we are developing for the client.
Please use Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Material UI for the front-end whenever possible. for the data layer, it can be GraphQL+mongoDB or PostgreSql or whatever solution you are familiar with.

Generally speaking, since this is a project to implement a client's rough idea, you can use as much advanced and popular technology stack as possible and make the interface look good.
# The output we need
- The full project source code (we would appreciate if there are simple comments in the codes).
- Simple instructions for us to carry out the deployment.
- A small amount of after-sales service (if it will take a lot of time we will pay separately).
