Skilled Developer for SEO Static Website
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for a skilled Front-End Developer to design and develop a fast, lightweight, and SEO-friendly static website to showcase products linked to external marketplaces. The website will be hosted on our own servers, utilize Cloudflare for DNS management, and support geolocation-based content customization.
Responsibilities
- Design & Develop a static website using Next.js (Static Generation), Astro, Hugo, or another suitable framework.
- Implement a JSON-based product catalog (no database required).
- Optimize the site for speed, SEO, and accessibility.
- Integrate Google Analytics & Mailchimp for tracking and email marketing.
- Deploy and configure the website on our own servers (Linux-based preferred).
- Optimize the site for Cloudflare caching and security.
- Implement geolocation-based content customization, such as:
- Displaying localized product listings or currency based on the user's location.
- Redirecting or modifying content dynamically using Cloudflare Workers, GeoIP APIs, or client-side geolocation.
- Serving localized language preferences where applicable.
- Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
- Provide documentation for future updates and maintenance.
Required Skills & Experience
✅ Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Astro, Hugo, or Jekyll).
✅ Experience with static site generation (SSG) and headless CMSs (if applicable).
✅ Familiarity with Linux server environments & Nginx/Apache for deployment.
✅ Understanding of Cloudflare configuration, caching, security settings, and Workers for edge computing.
✅ Experience implementing geolocation-based customization using:
- Cloudflare Workers
- IP Geolocation APIs (MaxMind, IPinfo, GeoJS, etc.)
- Client-side geolocation (Navigator API)
✅ Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization.
✅ Experience with Git & version control.
✅ Ability to work independently and deliver a polished product.
Nice-to-Have Skills
➕ Experience with Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development.
➕ Knowledge of Cloudflare Pages & Edge Functions.
➕ UI/UX design experience with a focus on localization.
