Senior Next.js Developer for Institution Profile Platform

We are urgently seeking an experienced senior developer proficient in Next.js and Payload CMS. Your task will be to continue the development on a exiting Institution profile listing/rating wesite. Some features are already built need to continue the development from where its left of.
Scope of Work:
Search & Filter Functionality:
1) Develop and integrate a comprehensive search and filter system.
2) Users should be able to search institutions (Universities, Colleges, Schools) by various criteria such as location, courses offered, ratings, and more.
3) The filter system should be dynamic and allow users to apply multiple filters simultaneously.
API Integration & Data Binding:
1) Integrate third-party APIs to fetch real-time data for institutions.
Ensure seamless data binding to dynamically update pages with the fetched data.
2) Handle data consistency and error management effectively.
OTP System:
1) Develop a robust phone number-based OTP (One-Time Password) system for user registration and login.
2) The system should support sending OTP via SMS and validate the entered OTP.
3) Integrate the OTP system with Payload CMS to enable admins to manage user data and verify registration/login attempts.
UI Fixes:
1) Review the current UI and make necessary adjustments to align with the design requirements.
2) Ensure consistency in design elements such as fonts, colors, spacing, and layout.
3) Fix any UI bugs and enhance the overall user experience.
Animations and Transitions:
1) Implement smooth and engaging animations and transitions throughout the website.
2) Ensure animations do not compromise website performance and are compatible across different devices and browsers.
3) Use animations to enhance user interactions and guide user navigation.
Code Quality Improvement:
1) Conduct a thorough code review and refactor the existing codebase to improve readability, maintainability, and performance.
2) Ensure the use of best practices and coding standards.
Document the code and provide comments for better understanding and future maintenance.
Responsive Design:
1) Ensure the website is fully responsive and performs well on all screen sizes, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
2) Test and fix any layout or design issues that arise on different devices.
3) Use a mobile-first approach to enhance the mobile user experience.
Expiration Logic for Institutions:
1) Implement a system to manage the expiration of institution profiles.
2) Admins should be able to set expiration dates for institution profiles.
3) Automatically disable or hide expired profiles and notify the admin.
Events Management:
1) Implement logic to manage events and transfer expired events to a "Past Events" section.
2) Admins should be able to create, edit, and delete events through the Payload CMS.
3) Ensure users can view upcoming and past events separately.
Code and Performance Optimization:
1) Optimize the website's code to enhance performance and reduce load times.
2) Implement caching strategies and lazy loading where appropriate.
3) Monitor and resolve any performance bottlenecks.
SEO Optimization:
1) Ensure all pages and profiles are SEO-friendly and adhere to best practices.
2) Integrate SEO metadata fetching from APIs to dynamically update meta tags, titles, and descriptions.
3) Optimize URLs, headings, and content structure for better search engine ranking.
Requirements:
1) Proven experience with Next.js and Payload CMS.
Strong understanding of dynamic data integration and API binding.
2) Experience with implementing OTP systems and user authentication.
3) Proficient in UI/UX design adjustments and ensuring responsive design.
