Senior Full-Stack Developer – TypeScript / Next.js / Expo React Native (Proptech SaaS)

I'm the founder of Properly, an AI-powered property portfolio management platform built for Australian residential property investors. The product is currently in active development across both web and mobile and I'm looking for a senior full-stack developer.

This is potentially a long-term role — not a one-off project. I'm looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates proactively, and can work independently alongside a non-technical founder.

TypeScript (throughout)
Next.js (web frontend)
Expo / React Native (iOS & Android)
Express.js (backend API)
MongoDB / Mongoose
Yarn workspaces monorepo
EAS (Expo Application Services) for app builds
Claude Code + GitHub (our core development workflow)

What You'll Be Working On

New feature development across web and mobile
Third-party API integrations (open banking, mortgage referrals, channel managers)
App Store and Google Play build and release management via EAS
Backend API development and data processing logic
Clean, well-structured TypeScript throughout

What I'm Looking For

4+ years commercial experience across the stack listed above
Proven experience shipping iOS and Android apps to the App Store and Google Play
Experience with fintech or proptech is highly regarded
Based in Australia or Southeast Asia (AEST timezone overlap required)
Familiarity with Claude Code and GitHub preferred
