SOftware engineering need to deploy code using GitHub render and vercel

Job ID: 40329668

Budget: $15 – $25 AUD

I have a production-ready web application built with Next .js 14 (App Router), PostGIS-backed Postgres, Redis, Prisma ORM, and Cloudflare R2 for object storage. All source code currently lives in a private GitHub repository. What I need now is a clean, reliable deployment workflow that pushes the project to both Vercel and Render so I can benchmark each platform before committing long-term.

Here’s what the engagement looks like from my side:

• Configure CI/CD from GitHub to Vercel and Render, including any required build commands, secrets management, and branch rules.
• Verify that database migrations run smoothly against a managed Postgres/PostGIS instance, Redis connections stay healthy, and R2 assets resolve in production.
• Optimise the build for Next.js 14 edge/runtime where appropriate.
• Leave the repository in a state where builds trigger automatically on merge to main, with clear status checks.
• Provide a concise README section (or separate doc) explaining every environment variable, service binding, and how to redeploy or roll back.

I value straightforward communication and transparent work practices. If you have solid experience deploying modern Next.js stacks on Vercel or Render—and you’re comfortable orchestrating PostGIS, Redis and Cloudflare R2 in the mix—I’d like to work together.
