Revamp Luxury Watch Next.js Site

Job ID: 40564033

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

My Next.js-based website for a high-end watch brand needs a thoughtful tune-up. I want three things tackled at once: the design/UI needs a fresher, more contemporary layout; load times and Lighthouse scores must rise noticeably; and day-to-day content updates should become easier for our small in-house team.

Design direction
I already collected several reference sites that capture the look and polish I’m after. Your first task will be to study those examples and translate the best ideas into a modernised layout that feels exclusive, timeless, and fully responsive across all breakpoints.

Performance goals
We are on Next.js, so please lean on image optimisation, code-splitting, clean GraphQL/REST calls, and any other proven tricks that keep Core Web Vitals solidly in the green. I expect you to measure, optimise, and then demonstrate the gains.

Content management
Right now edits require digging into code. If you can wire the existing components to a headless CMS (Sanity, Strapi, or another you prefer) without disrupting current functionality, that would be ideal. The end result should let a non-developer update product descriptions, images, and blog posts in minutes.

Deliverables
• Redesigned page templates and components reflecting the new layout
• Performance report showing before/after metrics and commits achieving them
• Integrated CMS with clear documentation for editors
• Final source code pushed to our Git repository, ready to deploy via Vercel

If you have solid Next.js chops, an eye for luxury-grade UI, and a track record of measurable performance improvements, I’d love to see how you would approach this.
