Remote Next.js Developer (EST)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for a skilled Next.js engineer who can log in from 6:00 AM-3:00 PM New York time and take full ownership of new and existing features in our React/Next.js code-base. The immediate priority is rock-solid server-side rendering, so you should feel comfortable structuring pages for fast first-paint, handling data hydration smoothly, and profiling anything that might slow things down.
Day to day you’ll build and refactor components, wire them to REST and GraphQL endpoints, and keep an eye on performance budgets. A clean architecture mindset, an eye for optimization, and confidence working independently will let you thrive here. Modern tooling is already in place—Next.js 14, TypeScript, and Git—but you’ll help shape the pipeline further as we iterate on linting, testing, and deployment workflows.
We work fully remote yet stay tightly aligned during the EST shift for stand-ups, code reviews, and pair debugging when needed. Expect an environment geared toward long-term collaboration and professional growth; you’ll see the direct impact of every line you ship.
If this sounds like a fit, send me a short note highlighting your relevant experience with Next.js, React, and server-side rendering. A link to your GitHub or any live projects is a plus. I review every message personally and will reach out quickly if there’s a match.
