React/Next.js Session Support
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I run a pair of modern web apps built with React 18 and Next.js 14. To keep momentum while the core team focuses on new features, I need an experienced engineer who can jump into brief, daily screen-sharing sessions—about two hours each weekday—and unblock whatever is holding us back.
Here is what you’ll actually do during those sessions:
• Refine or extend existing UI components using the latest React patterns (hooks, server components, context, etc.).
• Wire up or troubleshoot GraphQL queries and mutations, plus the occasional REST endpoint.
• Write or update unit and component tests with Jest and React Testing Library so our coverage doesn’t slip.
• Diagnose live issues on the spot, suggest best-practice fixes, and leave the code a little cleaner than you found it.
You should already have at least six years of production-level JavaScript experience, with deep knowledge of both React and Next.js. Familiarity with GraphQL tooling (Apollo, urql or similar) and confidence in testing are essential because part of your value will be coaching less-experienced teammates while you code.
Availability: roughly two contiguous hours sometime between 9 AM and 7 PM IST, Monday through Friday. We’ll agree on a fixed slot to make collaboration easy.
Compensation: I’ve earmarked ₹22–24 k per month for this lightweight, part-time commitment; the goal is a long-term arrangement if both of us are happy.
Deliverable acceptance is simple: the day’s goals work in the staging environment, the related tests pass, and any key decisions or gotchas are documented in the PR.
