PropScrapeAI
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Scope of Work – PropScrapeAI Integration & Production Deployment
Project Summary
We are working on PropScrapeAI, a web scraping and content enhancement tool designed to help landlords and property managers import property listings into the FreeRoom ecosystem.
While the project works fine in trial mode, we are encountering rendering issues when transitioning to production (Firebase hosting). Your role will involve resolving deployment issues and ensuring the application works flawlessly in production.
Core Responsibilities
Firebase Production Debugging & Fixes
Investigate rendering issues in production mode
Ensure all dynamic routes, assets, and APIs work as expected on Firebase Hosting
Optimize build and deploy settings for Firebase
Codebase Review & Deployment Readiness
Audit current setup for Firebase Functions (if any), Hosting, and Storage
Ensure proper environment separation (dev vs prod)
Optimize CI/CD process (if required)
Understand & Maintain the Following Features:
Web Scraping Capabilities
Single URL Scraping: Extract property data from individual listing pages
HTML Scraping: Accept and process raw HTML content
Bulk Scraping: Handle multiple property links via Excel/CSV or direct input
Anti-bot Mechanisms: Includes user-agent rotation and CAPTCHA bypassing
AI-Driven Enhancements
Description Enhancement: Uses OpenAI API to improve property write-ups
Copywriting Optimization: Applies real estate best practices
Title Generation: Produces click-worthy property titles
Data & Image Management
Local JSON Storage: Keeps property data structured in JSON format
Scrape History: Tracks scraping activity and logs results
Export Formats: Support for Excel, CSV, and JSON downloads
Firebase Storage: Integrated for property image handling
User Interface
Built with Next.js + Tailwind CSS
Responsive and mobile-friendly
Organized layout using tabbed workflows
Real-time loading indicators, toast notifications, and progress bars
Required Documentation / Access for Development
To begin work and ensure smooth execution, you’ll need access to the following:
Code Repository Access
GitHub access with contributor permissions to the FreeRoom organization repo
Firebase Project Access
Firebase Hosting
Firebase Console (Storage, Functions, Firestore if used)
Environment configuration (e.g. .env.production, .env.local)
OpenAI API Configuration
API key and documentation on how it's used in the project
Sample Inputs
Example URLs
Sample HTML files
Sample Excel/CSV files for bulk scraping
Deployment Documentation (if available)
Build steps
Firebase.json config
Hosting settings
Known issues or limitations
UI/UX Reference (Optional)
Figma, screenshots, or examples of expected layout/functionality
Deliverables
Fix all production deployment issues and rendering bugs
Deploy the app through GitHub workflow with contributor access
Provide documentation for deployment steps and known configurations
Conduct a final test run using sample data to validate full workflow
Optional: Code cleanup and minor UI improvements if identified during debugging
Let me know if you'd like this turned into a downloadable PDF, Notion page, or formatted as a Gig post for platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, or Freelancer.
