Optimize Firebase Backend for Production
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
I have a Firebase V2 app built with Node.js, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Genkit, and Firebase Functions. The feature set is complete, but the codebase is still in pre-production and I want it live in roughly two weeks.
The focus is squarely on the backend services. I need hands-on code optimisation and bug fixing, especially around the Genkit-powered AI functions. That means profiling and refactoring Node.js functions, tightening TypeScript typings, and making sure every request between the React/Next.js frontend and Firebase resources is lean, reliable, and fast.
Deliverables I must see:
• Clean, well-commented commits that show each optimisation or patch
• All unit and integration tests green in CI
• A production-ready Firebase Functions deployment with measurable performance gains (before/after benchmarks)
• A concise hand-off note covering architectural changes, remaining risks, and next-step recommendations for scalability and security
I’m available for daily PR reviews and quick walkthroughs so we keep momentum toward launch day. If you’ve shepherded a similar stack into production and can own the final polish, let’s move quickly.
