Node/Next Full-Stack App Development

We are building a smart networking companion and we need an individual, end-to-end developer who is equally comfortable in the back-end (Node.js with Nest.js), the front-end (Next.js), and mobile extensions in React Native. We already have the phase 1 of the mobile completed in Flutter, which we plan to refactor in React native in the near future.

The first milestone centres on the web application, but we want every line of code written with cross-platform reuse in mind.

Core features we plan to ship: secure user authentication, rich contact management, a PWA-ready front-end, AI-powered OCR inside the feed, recurring payments and subscriptions, calendar integration, and messaging. You will own these features from API consumption/correction to pixel-perfect interface.

Robust DevOps is non-negotiable. Please come prepared to design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines that test, lint, build, and deploy both the web and React Native builds in a single stroke. If you are already fluent with Docker, GitHub Actions, and Azure environment-specific staging, you’ll feel right at home here.

Deliverables we expect from you:
• A Nest.js API with all endpoints for the features above
• A Next.js front-end that meets PWA standards and consumes the API
• A React Native code-base that shares logic with the web layer
• Automated tests and a one-click CI/CD pipeline that deploys to Azure, our chosen cloud provider
• Documentation good enough for another developer to pick up without hand-holding
