Experienced Developer Needed for Field Service Management (FSM) Web Application (TypeScript / Next.js / Firebase)
I am looking to hire an experienced full-stack developer to help complete and refine a Field Service Management (FSM) web application built using TypeScript, Next.js, and Firebase.
The core foundation of the platform is already built, but I now need a professional with direct FSM experience to make the system fully functional, efficient, and production-ready.
About the Web Application:
This project is a SaaS Field Service Management platform designed specifically for dental equipment technicians.

- Employee management
- Work orders & service logs
- QR-code equipment tracking
- Clinic profiles
- Parts catalog & order requests
- X-ray (HARP) compliance inspection forms
- Firebase authentication
- Firestore database integration
- Admin dashboard and utility tools
What I Need:
I am looking for a developer who can take the existing structure and bring it to full production-level functionality, including:
- Core Requirements
- Ensure all modules communicate with the database properly
- Fix non-functional pages (e.g., employee creation, test data seeding, delete functions, equipment updates)
- Make all buttons, actions, and workflows fully interactive
- Improve database schema and API routes where needed
- Optimize load times and eliminate unnecessary sample data
- Implement validation, error handling, and authentication guards
- Make the FSM workflows smooth, fast, and intuitive
Specific Areas Requiring Work:
- Employee registration and syncing to Firestore
- Seeding / deleting test data
- Account creation module
- Work order creation & updates
- QR code equipment lookup
- X-ray compliance forms (HARP inspections) that auto-fill PDF exports
- Parts catalog → shopping cart → order management
- Admin vs technician role permissions
- Improved UI/UX consistency across the app
Preferred Developer Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have real experience building Field Service Management (FSM) systems, such as:
- Maintenance / technician platforms
- Asset tracking systems
- Inventory or parts ordering platforms
- Work-order based SaaS systems
- Compliance or inspection software
Plus strong technical skills in:
- Next.js 14 / TypeScript
- Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Admin SDK)

- State management & server actions
- PDF generation systems
- Authentication & role-based access control
