Next.js Saas Auth /Payment / Ai credits etc.
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I am looking for an experienced fullstack dev for saas funcionality.
I am currently evaluate of using a paid Template like makerkit or supastarter but it seems to be a bit overhelmed and expensive too.
my priority is to find a lightweight but proven, production-ready solution that can be implemented quickly and reliably. Because of this, real-world experience and references are essential.
My main focus is currently not the AI application itself, but building a solid and scalable SaaS foundation.
It is essential that you have practical experience with:
● Supastarter or a similar SaaS boilerplate, or building a comparable architecture from scratch
● Authentication and user management (e.g. Supabase Auth, Clerk, Better Auth)
● Credit systems (credit balance, deductions, transaction tracking)
● Payment integration (e.g. Stripe) for purchasing and managing credits
● AI cost management, where external costs (e.g. from replicate.ai or fal.ai) are reliably passed on to customers
● Webhooks and robust backend logic for payments and credit handling
● Single-user vs. team-based architectures (important: the system should be designed with the option to support teams/organizations)
Ideally, you have experience with Supastarter, but I am also open to a custom-built solution using technologies such as Supabase, Clerk, or Better Auth, as long as it is clean, scalable, and production-ready.
The AI application itself is relatively straightforward. At the moment, all AI generation is handled exclusively through one Single Provider. The primary goal is to migrate an existing application/prototype into a clean, production-ready SaaS architecture.
Please only get in touch if you have hands-on experience with the topics listed above and can provide references, portfolio projects, or examples of similar SaaS applications you have built. Cause this is a Side project and I don’t know yet if anything will scale, I want to keep costs low, so it would be important which Budget should be necessary for it
