Next.js Multitenant Education Platform
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I’m building a computer education website and want it architected from the ground up as a true multitenant platform so that multiple institutes can run under one code-base while keeping their data fully isolated. My stack of choice is Next.js with React on the front end, Node.js and Express.js on the backend, and MongoDB for persistence, so I’m looking for someone fluent in all of these technologies and comfortable designing for tenancy at scale.
Scope of work
• Design and implement the multitenant data model in MongoDB, including user, course, and exam collections.
• Build RESTful (or GraphQL, if you prefer) APIs in Express.js that expose course content, student information, and forum threads while enforcing tenant-level separation.
• Develop the core Next.js pages for course delivery and student dashboards, keeping performance and SEO in mind.
• Integrate key features:
– Student forums with real-time updates.
– Online exams with auto-grading and result storage.
– Certificate generation once a learner meets completion criteria.
• Focus especially on backend functionality—robust authentication, role-based access, and clean code structure that can scale as more institutes come onboard.
• Provide clear documentation and hand-off notes so I can maintain and extend the platform after launch.
If you have experience turning single-tenant apps into multitenant SaaS solutions and can demonstrate past work with Next.js and MongoDB, I’d love to hear how you’d approach this build and an estimated timeline for the first functional milestone.
