Next.js Marketplace Platform Development
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I’m building a full-featured e-commerce marketplace and need a developer who can take it end-to-end on the following stack: Next.js for the front-end, Node.js for the API layer, and MariaDB for persistence.
Core modules to implement
• Vendor management – vendors must be able to register, maintain a profile, and manage their own product listings through a clean dashboard.
• Product management – the catalogue needs inventory tracking, flexible categorisation, and a built-in review & rating system that feeds back into search and vendor reputation.
• Checkout & fulfilment – integrate at least one major payment gateway, generate shipping labels, and expose webhooks for confirmation and acceptance of delivery. A final step lets buyers leave feedback on the product, the vendor, or the delivery experience, all stored for analytics.
I’ll provide UI wireframes, brand colours, and priority user stories. You’ll architect the database, develop REST/GraphQL endpoints, wire up the React components, and hand over thoroughly commented code plus a brief deployment guide (Docker-ready). Automated tests covering the critical flows are part of “done”.
If you have prior experience launching similar multi-vendor marketplaces with this stack, tell me which libraries or services you prefer for payments, auth, and shipping so we can finalise decisions quickly.
