Next.js Frontend Developer for Figma Designs
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
**Role Summary**
We’re looking for a frontend developer who can translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive pages in Next.js + Tailwind CSS + TypeScript. Your work will target tablet and desktop only (no mobile for now), with desktop experiences optimized for HD (1366×768), Full HD (1920×1080), and 4K (3840×2160) screens. You’ll follow strict component architecture and coding standards, submit daily pull requests (PRs), and collaborate closely with design and product.
**What You’ll Do**
- Convert approved Figma screens into high-quality Next.js pages and reusable components with pixel perfection (tolerance ±2px, consistent spacing, typography, and interactions).
- Build a component-driven UI:
- Smallest UI elements as standalone components (buttons, inputs, badges, icons).
- Compose elements into feature components and then page layouts to maximize reuse.
- Implement responsive behavior for tablets and desktops:
- Tablet layouts (e.g., 768–1180px range).
- Desktop layouts for HD, Full HD, and 4K with proper containers, max-widths, and grids to preserve readability.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility (latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox; Safari where applicable).
- Use TypeScript for strict typing; maintain ESLint + Prettier compliance and follow agreed naming/file structure.
- Optimize performance (code-splitting, image optimization with next/image, minimal CLS, accessible semantics).
- Write basic unit/integration tests for critical components (Jest + React Testing Library preferred).
- Ship small, daily PRs with clear commit messages and participate in code reviews.
- Work with designers in Figma Dev Mode, raise flags for ambiguous specs, and propose feasible alternatives when needed.
**Required Skills & Experience**
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Proven experience delivering pixel-perfect UI from Figma (auto-layout awareness, spacing, tokens, responsive grids).
- Solid understanding of responsive design for tablet & desktop, including:
-Handling HD, Full HD, 4K via sensible container widths (e.g., 1280–1600px max), density/spacing scaling, and grid changes.
- Knowledge of Tailwind breakpoints and when to introduce custom ones (e.g., 3xl for ≥1920px, 4k for ≥3840px).
- Comfortable with Git/GitHub workflows: branches, daily PRs, reviews, resolving conflicts.
- Familiar with a11y basics (semantic HTML, keyboard focus, contrast, aria tags).
- Ability to estimate tasks, communicate risks early, and deliver incrementally.
