Next.js App With Live Data

I already have the finished Figma designs and now need the build in Next.js. The core of the job is to translate those screens into a production-ready application that includes secure user authentication, smooth API integration and true real-time data updates (think WebSocket or Server-Sent Events rather than timed polling).

You’ll start by setting up a clean Next.js codebase, wiring up the auth flow (email/password plus social log-ins via OAuth), then hooking the front end to my existing REST endpoints. After that, we’ll layer on the live updates so a user sees changes instantly without refreshing the page.

Deliverables
• Complete Next.js repository reflecting the approved designs
• Auth module fully tested and documented
• Connected API calls with proper error handling and state management
• Real-time data channel implemented and demonstrated in the UI
• Deployment scripts (Vercel preferred) and a short hand-off video or README showing setup

Acceptance criteria
The app must match the provided designs pixel-for-pixel, pass Lighthouse scores above 90, keep authenticated routes protected server-side, and display external data within 200 ms of change.
