I’m looking to give my current Node.js + React / Next.js application a quick yet effective tune-up. The codebase is stable, but page load times feel sluggish, server responses lag, and certain database queries spike the CPU. I’d like a developer who can dive in, spot the bottlenecks, and deliver a lightweight set of fixes that immediately boost real-world speed.
Key focus areas
• Reduce initial and subsequent page load times in the Next.js front-end.
• Trim server response latency on our Node.js API routes.
• Optimize the most expensive SQL queries (indexes, query restructuring, or caching as appropriate).
