Modern React/Next.js Web App

I need you to build a fast, scalable, mobile-first web application with React 18 and Next.js. The backend will run on Node.js and persist data in a MySQL database, so you’ll design the schema, wire it up through an ORM such as Prisma or Sequelize, and make sure it performs well under load.

Clean UI/UX is critical: every screen must be responsive, intuitive, and accessible across modern browsers and devices. Server-side rendering or incremental static regeneration in Next.js should be used where it improves speed and SEO.

Security is non-negotiable. Implement a solid authentication flow (email/password at minimum) with hashed credentials, secure session handling, and CSRF protection. If you can propose additional layers like social sign-on or 2FA, let me know how you’d roll them out.

I’ll also need:

• A REST or GraphQL API for the frontend and any external integrations
• Comprehensive error handling and logging
• Unit and integration tests for critical paths
• A CI/CD pipeline that pushes to a staging and a production environment (Vercel, AWS, or a platform you recommend)
• Deployment scripts, environment variable management, and clear hand-off documentation
