Mobile-First Core Build for ATHLOS Awards
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
We are seeking a skilled developer to build a modern, mobile-first Progressive Web App (PWA) for ATHLOS Awards, a youth sports recognition platform.
IMPORTANT:
We already have full designs completed for the platform. This is a focused MVP build that must be clean, fast, and feel like a mobile app experience.
This is NOT a complex platform build. We are prioritizing speed, usability, and a premium look and feel.
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
ATHLOS Awards will allow users (parents, athletes, organizations) to:
Browse award products (Rings, Championship Belts, Medals, Trophies, Turnover Chains, Posters)
Select from 3–5 designs per product category
Customize products with text and images
Complete purchases through a streamlined checkout experience
CORE FEATURES (MVP):
Mobile-first PWA (app-like experience)
User account creation and login
Product category pages
Product selection (limited SKUs for each category)
Basic customization:
Text inputs (name, number, team, etc.)
Image upload (primarily for posters)
Canva template integration (link-out or structured workflow for poster editing)
Shopping cart + secure checkout (Stripe or similar)
User dashboard (basic order history)
PWA REQUIREMENTS:
Must function like an app on mobile devices
Installable to home screen (Add to Home Screen)
Fast load speeds and smooth navigation
Clean transitions between pages
Full mobile optimization (primary use case)
TECH PREFERENCES:
React / Next.js (preferred)
Experience building Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
Experience with e-commerce integrations
Ability to follow design specifications closely
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This is a lean MVP build (not a full-scale app)
Simplicity and performance are more important than complexity
Designs are already completed — execution is key
TIMELINE:
4 weeks (must be able to execute efficiently and meet deadlines)
BUDGET:
$3,000 – $5,000
TO APPLY:
Share 2–3 examples of web apps or PWA projects you’ve built (must include dashboards or interactive platforms)
Confirm you can deliver within a 4-week timeline
Briefly explain your approach to building a fast, mobile-first PWA
We are looking for a developer who can move quickly and potentially continue with us into Phase 2 (mobile app expansion and advanced features).
Start Date: Immediate
