Interactive Nail Art Preview Web App

We are looking for a skilled full-stack web developer to build an interactive nail art preview web app. The app should allow users to preview nail polish colors on a live hand model in real time.

Core Features:

Category Selection – Users can choose from 3 categories: Biogel, Evo Gel Polish, and Gemini Nail Polish.

Swatch Display & Selection – Each category has ~265 swatches. Users can browse and select from the right-hand side panel.

Live Hand Model Preview – Selected swatches instantly update on a hand model. Nail art overlays (PNG/SVG) may also be layered.

Responsive & Mobile-First – Smooth performance across desktop and mobile with fast load times.


Assets Provided:

A PDF file containing nail polish categories and ~800 total swatches (3 categories).

Swatches will need to be extracted and optimized into PNG/SVG/HEX for use in the app.

Nail art overlay assets may be provided later or created with developer guidance.


Technical Requirements (Preferred):

Frontend: React (Next.js)

Styling: TailwindCSS + custom components

Rendering: HTML5 Canvas / CSS masking / WebGL for realistic textures

Backend: Next.js

Database: MongoDB

Hosting: Vercel


Deliverables:

Fully functional MVP aligned with the PRD

Clean, modular, and well-documented code

Responsive UI with fast load times (<2s on mobile)

Proper integration of nail polish swatches and overlays


Who We’re Looking For:

Strong experience with interactive UI/UX and web animations

Experience with Canvas/WebGL or similar rendering techniques

Ability to optimize for mobile performance

Good communication and proactive technical suggestions

Prior experience with customization/preview apps is a plus

~7 weeks for MVP delivery
