Full-stack web dev (Next.js + Supabase/Postgres); well-funded early-stage startup
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
Summary
We are a well-funded early-stage startup building an AI tool to reinvent paper management for researchers.
We're looking for a fast, talented web developer to help us build our MVP: a browser extension for ingesting papers, and a PDF viewer webapp with a library panel on the left and a chatbot interface on the right.
You’ll work directly with the founder (University of Cambridge PhD, strong technical background, 5-stars on Fiverr from 12 reviews).
If you excel, we'd aim to increase your salary quickly and transition to a long-term working relationship. The tech stack is Next.js + React + TypeScript for the frontend, and Supabase (Postgres) for the backend. You should be someone who:
- Moves quicker than most people
- Writes clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- (Bonus) Has experience with AI APIs, with scaling a SaaS, with open-source, and/or with researcher-facing tools
If this sounds like you, please include in your application:
- Your favourite AI coding tool
- One example of something you've built
Deliverables
SaaS web application using React, NextJS, and TypeScript
Supabase backend for paper storage and data management
Chrome and Firefox browser extensions
(Future phases will include Word/Google Docs plugins and PDF annotation, but these are not part of the MVP.)
