Full Stack: React/Next.js Frontend Engineer Needed (Medusa/AWS/CI-CD)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
ARK is looking for a detail-oriented React / Next.js front-end engineer to help us continue building ARK Marketplace — a faith driven marketplace where mission-aligned businesses can sell and connect.
_______________________
Our backend infrastructure is already running on AWS using Medusa with Mercur architecture, and several pages and components are already built. We’re looking for someone who can extend the existing front-end without disrupting the architecture or CI/CD pipeline.
_______________________
We'll need to have a quick online visual meeting to explain dev and answer any questions you might have for the right candidate.
_______________________
IMPORTANT
1. Total pay is $90 (plus $10 tip if finished by Monday at 1pm PST)
2. There are no milestones.
3. You're comfortable working with Christians.
_______________________
Because we are a bootstrapped startup, we value developers who are careful, thoughtful, and capable of working within an existing system rather than rebuilding everything from scratch.
Tech Stack
• React
• Next.js
• Medusa backend
• Mercur B2C architecture (Mercurjs[.]com)
• AWS-hosted infrastructure
• CI/CD pipeline
• Git-based workflow
_______________________
In regards to finishing up and launching ARK we still need a number of pages to be included with ARK's frontend.
Mercur Pages
- There will be NO editing/development on these pages.
- The pages simply need to have ARK's header and footer installed which is already developed.
- The color scheme has to be changed.
_______________________
Info Pages
We need to add some information pages:
- There will be NO editing/development on these pages just proper title/text formatting.
- ARK Verification™ Overview
- ARK Velocity Membership™ Overview
- ARK Blessed Friday™ Overview
- You would be paid an additional $5 to develop any other info pages that we might need.
_______________________
Homepage
The homepage needs edits which will include:
- Edit/add the three slider pics with appropriate links to site pages.
- Editing/Deleting the larger pics and simply and replacing with the horizontal rows already developed.
- Editing in the new design for the first two rows from our Adobe PSD files (you'll need to have an Adobe Photoshop subscription to open the files).
_______________________
All pages you've done must be connected to the endpoints and working correctly before payment is released.
_______________________
ALL work must be completed in the next 5 days (by this coming Monday at 1pm PST).

What You'll Be Doing
• Replecating Adobe Photoshop (PSD) design mockups into responsive Next.js pages and components

• Integrating front-end components with the Medusa backend
• Maintaining stability of the CI/CD pipeline and deployments

• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
• Experience with headless commerce platforms (Medusa experience is a strong plus)
• Strong attention to detail and engineering discipline
_______________________
Important
We are not looking for someone to rebuild the platform. Much of the structure already exists. We need someone who can continue the work carefully and reliably while maintaining system stability.

We’re building something meaningful and long-term, and we’re looking for engineers who want to build it the right way, the first time.
