About the Role
We're looking for a highly capable full-stack developer to help build a brand-new SaaS platform designed to streamline the government contracting process for small businesses. This platform will be built from scratch inside an existing Next.js website and will include multiple interactive tools, AI integrations, and a smart, tiered user experience.
You’ll be responsible for building the entire system end-to-end: from onboarding flows and dashboards to proposal generators and document tools. If you enjoy working on complex, mission-driven products and want to see your code in action helping real users, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Build and connect 9 core tools across 3 product tiers inside an existing Next.js site
Develop tier-based user access and onboarding workflows
Integrate AI features using OpenAI or similar APIs (for writing, scoring, and automation)
Design and build a clean, user-friendly dashboard experience
Enable branded document generation (PDF, DOCX) for proposals and reports
Set up secure user authentication and role-based permissions
Ensure scalability, stability, and mobile responsiveness across the platform
Ideal Skills & Experience
Expert-level Next.js and React development
Solid back-end skills: Node.js, API development/integration, and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
Experience working with AI/LLM APIs like OpenAI
Skilled in building secure, scalable SaaS products with subscription flows
Strong UI/UX instincts with ability to build modern dashboards and document tools
Bonus: Experience with document templating, workflow automation, or procurement/CRM-style platforms
