We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team for a 3 month trial to improve the user experience and infrastructure of our website https://madewithlau.com

## Qualifications
- Being able to navigate ambiguity and bringing a curious and learning mindset is highly encouraged
- Experience with cloud platforms & infrastructure such as Vercel and AWS
- Familiar with Next.js or other server-side rendering (meta) frameworks
- The individual must have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and extensive experience building multi-tier applications
- A good sense of ownership: You strive for a good understanding, build the appropriate solution to get the job done, and timely iterate to deliver high impact results
- Attention to detail and creativity in problem solving are critical skills
- Love for building clean, maintainable code: Abstracting and refactoring should be a healthy habit, not a chore
- A team mentality: You appreciate collaboration and play a key role in bridging prioritized needs to your development work
- Pragmatism: You consider the many tradeoffs from business to technical in your project cycle
- Proficiency with React, Redux, Javascript
- Nice to have knowledge of design systems, UI libraries, Typescript, and edge functions
- Knowledge of testing frameworks: Jest, Cypress, MSW
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Headless CMS (we use Sanity CMS)
- Experience working with global project teams spread across several time zones in an agile environment
## Responsibilities
- As a full-stack software developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our websites, CMS, and backend infrastructure
- Be involved in maintaining the systems after pre-deployment and ensuring software quality assurance/testing is integrated throughout the release lifecycle
- Maintaining systems after deployment, including identifying and fixing bugs, monitoring performance, and making updates as needed
- You will work hands-on with our Principal Software Engineer, and will quickly gain skills and responsibilities as the team and the technical requirements grow
- Flexibility and willingness to learn and work on various programming languages as per project needs
- Develop and maintain up-to-date process flow documents for all tasks related to assigned work
- You will play a key role in developing the next generation of the digital platform
- Build and deploy RESTful microservices
- Optimize for speed, scale, and great web vitals
- Enjoy working closely with the founding team who have passionately dedicated their time to make a mark in so many hearts with this family’s story.
