Fix Social Link Previews

Job ID: 40147511

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I built mauluna.it, a real-estate site running on Next.js with Supabase, and discovered that when I share any property post the preview looks wrong (sometimes the image is missing, other times the title or description is off, and in a few cases Facebook seems to pull completely random metadata).

I need someone who understands Open Graph, oEmbed and all the quirks of the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp scrapers to audit the current implementation and put it right. The preview image should be square (1 : 1) and exactly match what visitors see on the website. Once you’re done I want to be able to drop a link in a Facebook story, an Instagram DM, WhatsApp chat—or anywhere else the share button lists—and get a clean, consistent card every time.

Deliverables
• Review the current Next.js pages and any Supabase-stored data to locate the faulty meta tags.
• Implement correct OG/Twitter card tags so the square cover image, page title and description render as intended for every post.
• Run each URL through Facebook’s Sharing Debugger (or equivalent) until no errors remain and the preview matches the site.
• Share a short note explaining the changes so I can maintain the setup on future listings.

If this sounds straightforward for you, let’s get it fixed and start sharing perfect previews today.
