FULL-STACK DEVELOPER / AI TECH CONSULTANT
Budget: $12 – $20 USD
(Cursor + Next.js + LLMs) – Paid Trial / Advisory First
I’m building an AI-driven web platform and currently working hands-on using Cursor.
I’m looking for a senior full-stack developer with strong AI experience to act initially as a technical consultant, helping review, improve, and unblock the current build.
This is not a “build everything for me” role.
It starts as advisory + hands-on support, and can evolve into a long-term core role if there’s a strong fit.
⸻
WHAT I NEED HELP WITH (INITIAL PHASE)
• Reviewing an existing Next.js / React codebase
• Identifying architectural or implementation issues
• Improving:
• Component structure
• State management
• AI integration patterns
• Helping me use Cursor more effectively (prompts, workflows, planning)
• Advising on:
• LLM integration best practices
• Prompt structure
• RAG / data flows (high level)
• Occasional hands-on fixes or refactors
Think of this as:
“Senior engineer sitting next to the founder, improving quality and speed.”
⸻
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Strong Next.js / React
• Experience integrating LLMs / AI APIs
• Comfortable reviewing and improving existing code
• Cursor experience is a big plus (or similar AI-assisted dev tools)
• Opinionated but practical
• Able to explain why something should be done a certain way
⸻
WORKING STYLE
• Async by default
• Short weekly calls to review progress
• Clear, honest feedback (I want to be challenged)
• Escrow + milestone based
⸻
TRIAL STRUCTURE (IMPORTANT)
This starts with a paid technical review + advisory trial, for example:
• Review the current build
• Identify key problems and improvements
• Propose a cleaner architecture or next steps
• Fix or refactor 1–2 core areas
If this goes well, scope can expand into:
• Core development
• Ongoing AI implementation
• Long-term technical partnership
⸻
TO APPLY, PLEASE INCLUDE
1. Links to real projects you’ve worked on
2. Your experience with:
• AI / LLM integrations
• Cursor or AI-assisted development
3. How you typically approach reviewing and improving an existing codebase
4. Confirmation you’re comfortable starting in a consultative role
Applications without real experience will be ignored.
