The Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Platform Team, working directly alongside our backend engineers. In this role, you will take ownership of our core consumer web application, transforming sophisticated product designs into pixel-perfect, interactive web applications. You will be responsible for ensuring our state management remains snappy under heavy data loads, optimizing client-side rendering performance, and setting component-driven design standards that the rest of our development team can easily scale.
What You’ll Do
Craft Interfaces: Build modular, fully responsive frontend components using a modern type-safe React ecosystem.
State Management: Design efficient, lightweight client-side state architectures to handle streaming data updates and concurrent user actions smoothly.
Performance Tuning: Diagnose and eliminate rendering bottlenecks, optimize bundle sizes, and implement advanced caching and code-splitting strategies to maintain excellent Core Web Vitals.
Design Engineering: Expand and maintain our shared internal UI component library, bridging the gap between design tokens and production code.
AI-Accelerated Workflows: Leverage modern development tools (such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code) to rapidly iterate on UI features and expand unit/integration test coverage without compromising on accessibility or clean code standards.
Requirements (Must Have)
5+ years of experience as a dedicated frontend or UI engineer delivering high-fidelity, consumer-facing web applications.
Framework Mastery: Deep, expert-level knowledge of React and modern metaframeworks (specifically Next.js or Remix).
Styling & Component Architecture: Absolute proficiency with utility-first CSS (Tailwind CSS) and modern component primitives (such as Radix UI or shadcn/ui).
Type Safety: Strong experience building complex, self-documenting applications using strict TypeScript.
Testing Culture: Genuine discipline for writing clean, maintainable UI code backed by comprehensive unit, integration, or visual regression test suites.
Nice to Have
Experience managing real-time frontend states via stateful connections (WebSockets or Server-Sent Events).
Familiarity with lightweight state management libraries like Zustand or Jotai.
Good understanding of full-stack data fetching layers and API integration strategies (REST, GraphQL, or tRPC).
