Enhancing Locata – Location Intelligence SaaS Platform
Locata is a business location intelligence platform that helps entrepreneurs and retailers evaluate commercial locations using geospatial data, competitor analysis, demand signals, and AI-powered insights.
Current Stack:
* Next.js 15
* TypeScript
* Supabase
* Google Places API
* OpenStreetMap (Overpass)
* OpenAI API
Current Status:
The platform is already functional and actively under development. We are not looking for a full rebuild.
We are looking for a small team (2–5 people) or boutique agency to help improve the platform and accelerate development.
Scope of Work:
1. Review existing architecture and codebase.
2. Improve location scoring and ranking models.
3. Improve report quality and business intelligence outputs.
4. Implement advanced geospatial and location intelligence features.
5. Improve dashboard UX/UI and product usability.
6. Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.
7. Recommend product roadmap improvements based on industry best practices.
Preferred Experience:
* Strong Next.js and TypeScript expertise.
* SaaS product development experience.
* GIS, mapping, geospatial analytics, Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, GeoJSON, or location intelligence experience.
* Experience building analytics or business intelligence platforms.
* Ability to work with existing codebases.
* Long-term collaboration preferred.
