ERP Synchronization Troubleshooting & Optimization

Job ID: 40125281

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Fix ERP–eCommerce Synchronization
My online store runs on a custom ERP built with Next.js 16 and MongoDB. The sales flow is supposed to propagate almost in real time to the Inventory and Invoicing modules, so that the information is then sent to an external invoicing system. However, the data arrives with delays of several minutes (or even hours), which ends up causing stock balance mismatches and issues with the fiscal folio numbers issued by the external provider.

I need you to thoroughly analyze the synchronization logic, identify bottlenecks in MongoDB queries or listeners, and adjust the service layer in Next.js so that propagation is immediate. I haven’t detected a clear pattern that triggers the issue, so the task also includes instrumenting metrics and logs that allow the problem to be reproduced, even under high transaction spikes.

I will provide access to a staging environment with anonymized data, as well as the documentation for the external invoicing API. The work will be considered complete when:

• Sales are reflected in Inventory and Invoicing in under 5 seconds after checkout.
• Historical mismatches are cleaned up using a reconciliation script.
• Production monitoring is set up (Grafana or similar) with basic alerts for latency and error rate.

If you have strong experience with Next.js, MongoDB, event/queue management, and index optimization, you should be able to resolve this quickly.

Important: The maximum payment for this task is between $50 and $90 USD. Any offer exceeding this range will be disregarded.
