Deploy & Debug Next.js/Django App
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Description:
I have a complete web application built with a Next.js (React + Tailwind) frontend and a Django backend with a PostgreSQL database. The project integrates with the Alpaca API for paper-trading data. The goal is to have a developer debug and deploy both parts of the app so it runs properly in production.
Scope of work:
Add features to properly manage a database of users paper trading with the website dashbaord using Alpaca pricing data. Enforce rules / limits when traders make or lose certain amounts of money.
Accept Stripe payments through the website.
Clone and run the repo locally (frontend and backend)
Fix build or dependency issues (npm, Python, or environment variables)
Set up environment configuration (.env) for the backend including API keys and database connection
Configure and connect to a PostgreSQL database (Render, Neon, or Supabase)
Deploy the frontend to Vercel
Deploy the backend to Render (or Railway / Fly.io)
Confirm that authentication, asset pages, charts, and API routes function as expected
Provide a short document explaining how to run the project locally and maintain deployments
Tech stack:
Next.js 14 + TailwindCSS
Django + PostgreSQL
Alpaca API (paper trading data only)
Render / Vercel deployment
