MVP Development for Symptom Checker (Web + Firebase Hosting)
Project Overview:
We have a Figma design for a healthcare MVP called Curebbean, a culturally relevant symptom checker for Caribbean communities. We now require a developer to implement the design into a functional MVP web application, following the scope agreed in Milestone 1.
Scope of Work (Milestone 1):
1. Frontend Development
Convert approved Figma design (5 screens) into responsive web pages.
Stack: Webflow (preferred for speed) OR Next.js + Tailwind (if developer recommends for scaling).
Implement linear Q&A flow (15–20 symptoms) with progress bar.
Add disclaimer text (persistent at bottom of each screen).
2. Logic Implementation
Implement basic rule-based logic mapping from Excel tracker.
Normal Result Screen: Show AI summary placeholder + Non-Urgent Advice.
Red Flag Screen: Override with urgent guidance text if triggers are met.
3. Backend Setup
Firebase integration (Auth + Firestore).
Store anonymous user inputs + outputs (for review & analysis later).
Ensure logs are retrievable for validation.
4. Hosting & Domain
Deploy frontend via Vercel (or Webflow Hosting).
Backend via Firebase Hosting.
Enable HTTPS/SSL.
Connect existing domain (curebbean.com).
Provide hidden URL or password-protected access for private review.
Add simple “Coming Soon” landing page (with regionally aligned stock image).
Requirements:
Proven experience in Next.js / Webflow + Firebase.
Strong frontend skills (responsive + mobile-first).
Experience with basic healthcare/education apps (GDPR/HIPAA awareness is a plus).
Ability to deliver in 4 days.
Clear communication and timely updates.
Deliverables:
Fully functional MVP (as per Figma design).
Private URL for testing.
Connected domain with HTTPS.
Codebase/files shared for future scaling.
