Project Overview for Developer (Final Version)
Hi, I’m building a chess training website and I’m looking for a developer to help me set it up. I’ll be creating all the course content myself — PGNs, videos, titles, and syllabi — and I need you to build the platform that delivers it.

Core Build
A fully responsive site where visitors can:

Browse courses

Add them to cart

Check out securely via Stripe

Tiered product structure:

Novice/Beginner, Intermediate/Advanced, and Expert/Master levels

Each course sold as either:

PGN-only: includes access to an interactive MoveTrainer-style experience (no downloads)

Video version: includes the same PGN trainer plus embedded video lessons

Optional $50/month all-access subscription that unlocks everything

Email-and-password account system:

Each purchase or subscription is tied to the user

Course pages are gated based on access level

Individual course pages feature:

Embedded video player (for video tiers)

Interactive PGN trainer (for PGN-only and video tiers)

Supplied course descriptions and syllabus

Workflow
I’ll provide:

All PGN files

All video files

Course titles and outlines

You’ll:

Set up the database and product structure

Integrate Stripe checkout and webhooks

Build the pages using a modern tech stack (React, Next.js, or similar)

Acceptance Criteria
A new user can register, purchase any tier, or start the monthly subscription.

Stripe confirms payment and unlocks the correct content in the user’s dashboard.

Videos stream smoothly and PGNs run inside an interactive trainer (not downloadable) for entitled accounts.

The UI passes a Lighthouse audit with good scores for performance and accessibility.
