Build Modern Interview Platform

I am ready to kick-off development of a web-based, mobile-first interview platform and would like an experienced partner who can take it from architecture through deployment.

The core features I need working end-to-end are:
• Candidate onboarding with a clean form and the option to record or upload an intro video (MP4, WebM).
• A configurable, multi-step interview flow that can handle timed questions, multiple choice, coding snippets, or free-text responses.
• Secure résumé upload plus fields for portfolio or LinkedIn links, all stored for later review.
• An admin panel where hiring managers can sort, filter, watch videos, leave notes, and move applicants through stages.

Tech stack preferences
Frontend should be React or Next.js so we benefit from component reuse and fast SSR. For the backend I am comfortable with either Node.js (Express/Nest) or Java with Spring Boot—choose the one you can deliver most efficiently. Experience with video handling (compression, thumbnail generation, cloud storage) will be a strong plus.

Scope and milestones
1. Wireframes & DB schema approval
2. Candidate flow implemented with responsive UI that passes Lighthouse mobile audits
3. Video upload/processing pipeline integrated
4. Admin panel with role-based access and basic analytics
5. Final hardening, documentation, and hand-off

Acceptance criteria
• All critical paths fully functional on current Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
• Page load under 2 s on 4G emulation.
• OWASP top-10 checks passed on a staging URL.
• Clean, commented code pushed to a private Git repository with instructive README.
